Who We Are
Animal Aid of Branch County, or AABC, was started in September 2007 to help curb the high number of animals being euthanized at our local Branch County Animal Shelter.
AABC is a grass roots organization that is dedicated to the well-being of Branch County's animal population. Our goal is to reduce animal homelessness and to promote owner responsibility in our corner of Michigan.

What We Do

- AABC provides veterinary assistance to shelter dogs & local pet owners on a case by case basis
- AABC offers spay/neuter coupons at Branch County Animal Control as funding allows
- AABC assists in returning lost/found animals with their owners
- AABC educates the public on the importance of spaying/neuterinmg their pets
- AABC promotes the enforcement of MI state and local law regarding the humane treatment of animals

How You Can Help

- Donate to AABC: Your donation may be tax-deductible! Please check with your financial advisor.
- Volunteer with AABC: New volunteers are always welcome, especially foster caregivers for the animals.
- Be a responsible pet owner:
- Spay/neuter your pet!
- Make sure that your pets are identified (tags, license, microchip, etc.)!
- Vaccinate your pet and provide proper medical care!

Our Mission Statement
It is the primary goal of AABC to assist in the placement of homeless animals from Branch & Hillsdale Counties, with an emphasis on reducing the number of animals euthanized at the Branch County Animals Control facility.
AABC shall pursue the education of all area citizens regarding proper animals care, owner responsibility, and the important of spaying and neutering their pets. |
